Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website when you visit it. They are widely used to make websites function correctly, to remember your preferences, and to provide analytical information to site operators. Some cookies are set by Soundwax directly ("first-party cookies"); others are set by third-party services we use ("third-party cookies").
Similar technologies such as local storage, session storage, and device fingerprinting may also be used and are subject to this policy.

Essential cookies are strictly necessary for the Service to function and for security purposes. They are deployed on the basis of our legitimate interests and the necessity to perform our contract with you (Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). Consent is not required for these cookies under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive (as implemented in Dutch law).
Analytics cookies are only placed with your prior, freely given, specific, and informed consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Article 5(3) ePrivacy Directive). You may give or withdraw consent at any time via the cookie banner or your account settings.
Where we use third-party analytics providers, those providers may set their own cookies subject to their own privacy policies. We select providers that offer EU data residency or appropriate transfer safeguards (see our Privacy Policy, Section 5).
Soundwax does not permit any third-party advertiser or data broker to set cookies through the Service.
You can control cookies in several ways:
Withdrawing consent for analytics cookies does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent given before withdrawal.
We may update this Cookie Policy when we add or remove cookies or when laws or guidance change. We will update the "Last updated" date above and notify you of material changes via the Service or by email. If we introduce new non-essential cookies, we will seek fresh consent where required.
